WINTER

In the North the winter can be a time of rest and quiet but here in the south it can be a vibrant growing season. Lettuce, Carrots, Cabbages, things that just can’t cope with our heat come into their own in the winter and fill the garden with a welcome bounty.

though we have to divide our focus between wht is now and getting ready for the spring to come, starting our seeds for spring.

no matter where you are focus on eating those things that thrive or preserve their bounty for winter!
